Op Art is alive and well, and being reinvented by artist Jen Stark. Ms. Stark, who describes her mind-blowing three dimensional paper cut-out works of art as mathematically-organic, color paper explosions has had her work featured in Wired, Wallpaper, and Ready Made, among other magazines. And this weekend her new show (shared with artist Diem Chau) opens at OKOK Gallery in Seattle.
Check out the preview to see another series of gorgeous, impossible paper sculptures, along with some of Ms. Stark’s lovely felt-tip pen works.
