Don't miss...!

While this weekend is chock full of fantastic openings -- Glenn Barr at Billy Shire Fine Arts, Amy Sol at Thinkspace, Sylvia Ji at White Walls, it's also the last weekend you can see the masterwork of Takashi Murakami at Blum + Poe in Culver City. If you can't go in person, here are some images from the show.

(What exactly is a "chock" anyway? The dictionary says something about the block that holds a plane still -- you know, that thing with which Indy pummeled the muscle-headed mechanic in the only Indiana Jones movie that we pretend exists -- but why would something be full of blocks that hold airplanes still?)
